Christmas in Baja 2025

Friends and Family, 

As we prepare our hearts during this Advent season, we want to invite you to share with other families in Baja California this year. 

We will be making our monthly trip on December 20th for the weekend, to share provisions with our special families in two communities. Our hope this year is to empower them in their own holiday celebrations and traditions.

In order to do this, we asked each family for a list of needed items.  Based on the families' requests, we are accepting donations of non-perishable foods, unwrapped toys, decorations, and warm clothing for adults and children ages 6 months to 10 years old. Food donations can include boneless turkeys, canned foods, or other items with a stable shelf life.

The decorations can include things like battery operated string lights, small faux trees, ornaments, banners and gift wrap. Toys needed are for boys and girls ages 1 through 10 years old.  We plan to have the parents choose what toys and clothing are best for their children, so they can wrap the gifts and give it to their children themselves on Christmas Day. This is a great activity to do with your family!

Monetary donations can be made using Venmo and our Donation Menu. We will be using all monetary donations to provide these items to 15 families this Christmas season. (We do not use your donations for overhead of any kind.) 

We have long standing relationships with these families, some even as long as 20 years. We also continue our encouragement of their success with access to regular support through our monthly visits, food bags, and English classes.  They are grateful for anything we provide.
